Honoring the troops.

The Royal Opera has dedicated a night of their season to the troops February 14. Free admission is offered to a performance of extracts from Puccini’s “La Boheme” and the Royal Ballet’s “Tales of Beatrice Potter.” The Tickets for Troops charity is organized to provide free access to sporting events, theaters and concerts for active members of the UK armed forces.

Tony Hall, ROH chief executive, said he was “delighted” by the initiative. He added: “Opening our doors to new audiences, and families in particular, is very important for us.”
